  1. Having A Dry Mouth: Do you feel as if you are parched continuously? That no matter how hard you try your mouth always seems cottony and dry? Well, that may be a sign that you need to go to a healthcare professional. A dry mouth is indicative that your mouth is not producing enough saliva. Saliva serves several essential functions; it helps in neutralizing acids, in accelerating the digestion process as well as enhances your sense of taste. Without an adequate amount of saliva, you could be prone to tooth decay and difficulty is swallowing food.
  2. Irritated Gums: Usually when you are brushing your teeth and find that your gums look a little too red, it could be a sign that you are too aggressive when you are brushing your teeth.. Gum problems affect a lot of adults, and hence you should carefully examine your gums to check if anything is wrong. A little bit of bleeding when you are brushing can be considered normal. But if it is constantly happening, or your gums feel swollen and sensitive, or you find that your permanent teeth feel loose, it is time to go for your dental check-up.
  3. Bad Breath: If you have just had coffee or a meal with too much onion and garlic, then you should not be too worried about your breath. However, after you have brushed and flossed your teeth, you should have minty fresh breath rather than stale breath after an hour. Having bad breath would be indicative of serious disease lurking beneath. It could be a sign of gum problems or may be have a cavity. If you find that you have bad breath when you should not, make sure you book an appointment with a dental clinic.
  4. Jaw Pain: Pain in your jaw could be linked to dental problems, or any jaw injuries. If you have a cavity, sometimes the bacteria can travel to the root of the teeth, which can cause pain and lead to a serious issue if it is left untreated. Additionally, when you have jaw issues, you could be unconsciously grinding your teeth when you are sleeping, which can present problems as well.
