Faisal Rafiq June 2, 2021

A few months back, my mother started losing her hair suddenly. That was the time when she was quite worried about my brother’s health. We went to the cosmesurge international hospital, Rawalpindi. The doctors there were quite cooperative. They told us that her sudden hair thinning was due to an emotional shock. Though this was a temporary reaction and could be treated easily still it became a matter to worry about.

Coming to genger, men are genetically more vulnerable to baldness. At the same time, women are much more conscious of taking care of their hair. Numerous factors can affect the health of your hair. They will start damaging if you are neglecting your diet and not taking enough nutrients. It can be possible due to the increasing age and genetics.

Hair beautifies the first look of a person, so, thinning of the hair makes his self-esteem and confidence low. There can be various methods to treat your hair loss, it can be trying natural remedies or having a transplant.

Major Causes of Hair Loss:

The cause of hair loss varies from time to time and person to person. It varies from age to heredity to your diet. After going through the past experience, we learned to take care of our hair and prevent hair loss as much as we can. Some of the major causes are as detailed below.

  1. Anxiety and Stress

Hair loss and stress are menacingly interlinked. According to research, people who are stressed are more vulnerable to hair thinning. Usually, this situation is temporary and can be treated by using some natural remedies. Once the stressful situation is clouded away, the hair starts growing normally. The stressful time can be different for everyone. Students might be going through hair thinning during their exams. Contrary, parents might be under stress due to financial problems. Rush towards a doctor if you notice a sudden hair loss and don’t neglect it. You can adapt any hobbies to alleviate stress and anxiety.

  1. Unhealthy Diet

Our diet has the most vital role in determining our overall health. Whether it’s the hair fall, our mental health, or physical health, a healthy diet always heals. Our hair needs protein, specifically keratin to grow stronger efficiently. Besides protein, some vitamins and minerals are essential to prevent hair loss. The hair follicles become healthy when we are providing them the essential nutrients. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies are not only harmful to our hair but to our health too. Vitamin D is a requisite for boosting the growth of hair follicles.  Furthermore, an unhealthy diet can lead to more dandruff and dryness in your scalp.

  1. Hormonal Changes

During specific times, our body secretes different hormones. Some of these situations are childbirth, pregnancy, menstruation, or other health issues. Estrogen and progesterone levels affect hair growth. The decreased secretion of these hormones causes the hair to fall more. The alterations in hormones affect the hair in various ways. Some cause the patchy hair loss and some cause scalp infections.

  1. During Pregnancy

During pregnancy, mothers go through various changes in their bodies. Changes in hormone secretion can cause hair loss. Some women have a hard time managing stress during their gestation period. The hair growth in this specific period gets back to normal after pregnancy.

  1. Hairstyles and Medications

This is the most common way nowadays to damage your hair. Using straighteners regularly has ruined the hair of many girls. Every second person has dyed his/her hair and these treatments aggravate the hair loss. In fact, pulling your hair right for the purpose of styling can reduce its growth rate and make them thinner. Using some cheap treatments and hair dyes can leave long-lasting effects on your hair scalp. As a result, you will have to face hair loss for a long period of time. Thus, it is advised not to style your hair more often using heating equipment.

Go For a Treatment!

If you are facing hair loss issues, firstly try some natural remedies. Oil your hair regularly and massage the scalp. Use medicated shampoo to lessen the hair fall. If they still don’t get better, a hair transplant isn’t a bad option. We got the best hair transplant in Rawalpindi for our mother. That doctor worked efficiently and told them many different ways to take care of her hair after the treatment.
