You will discover solo singers and local bands giving their performances to the public for free. Live music in Boston is pretty familiar to the city homies and many travelers. However, the Covid-19 breakdown has taken a lot of happiness. But with time, things are back again and with better hope.

Berklee College of Music

The leading music college in Boston, Massachusetts. The college aims to promote contemporary music worldwide. The college till now holds more than 1500 live music concerts. The college is the aspiration for many musicians as it offers college-level courses, including hip hop, rock, heavy metal, bluegrass, and salsa. You won’t believe it; the college has won 310 Grammy awards.

➤Boston University College of Fine Arts

 The other tremendous college has supported music since its establishment. Many concerts have been arranged by the faculty and event companies to know the power of music. In one of the concerts, Professor Andrew Shenton of the BU School of Music and School of Theology gave his pre-concert talk with the title “Countering Violence: Singing What We Cannot Say.” Many events based on arts & music are presented every year to university students & the public (can be optional) to experience the unique talents of performers.

There is no such notification about upcoming music events; however, we hope the college will soon think about the live concert.

Northeastern University holds a small music association entirely run by university students. The group aims to bring the music community of Northeastern closer together. They have arranged small live concerts on the campus, which are highly applauded by the crowd. In the past, many solo performances were given by university students who are serious about building a career in music. However, after Covid, no music events have been arranged yet.
