Google Cloud is a suite of Cloud Computing solutions offered by Google. The solution offers different services such as computing, storage, networking, Big Data, applications, and many others that operate on the same architecture that Google uses for its own end users such as Google Search and YouTube.

What Does Google Clouds Provide?
Google Cloud provides four primary solutions. These are: the public cloud services, the private cloud service, the Hybrid service, and the Platform as a Service (PaaS) approach.
The public cloud services are hosted on Google’s central cloud infrastructure. These services include the provision of computing resources in an automatic way, such as machine learning or the provision of engineering services, through the use of APIs. The public cloud providers typically offer two models that differ primarily in the way the user licenses resources.
What About the Payments?
The user may have to pay for the resources that he or she consumes, or the provider may charge on a pay as you go basis. The second model, the Private cloud storage is also another solution offered by Google Cloud. With this service, a company can have a bucket in which to store applications. It can be an external or in-house solution.
An application hosted in the Google Storage Bucket can be run on any platform, including mobile devices and the web. On the other hand, the third model, the Hybrid service is where many of the features of the public solutions are incorporated into a single service.
It allows a company to create a software development environment (SDX) that will allow third-party software vendors to integrate with the software and database.
The fourth and last solution is the Platform as a Service (PaaS) approach. It is a type of platform that will run a number of different software environments. It will first need to be customized to suit the needs of the organization before it can become functional.
It is mostly similar to the model where the user will create an internal application using the APIs and use it to access the data from the server, while the third-party services or applications on the other end will use a Persistent disks to persist the data on the platform.
One very important part of this article is the usage of terminology. When talking about the various storage types, two words frequently come to mind. The first one is “Cloud” and the second is “Google Cloud”. I will henceforth refer to these two terms interchangeably, even though they are defined in very different ways.
However, there are significant differences between the two and they are explained below. As previously mentioned, a Google Cloud service is an online storage platform for individual consumer information and application usage.
On-premises is the other type of solution where companies use the Google cloud infrastructure as a more formalized service offering. This is what most companies do when they buy physical infrastructure from Google. It also covers tasks such as application deployment, configuration of servers, application maintenance, management of security policies, etc.
The main advantage of this type of service is that all the processes are taken care of by Google and the users don’t need to take any of the related responsibilities. Another difference between the two is that, with the on-premise google cloud storage services, users are tied to the hardware and have no control over it.
They can only access it through their web browser or mobile app. The cloud storage API however gives the user total access to the storage system, so they can create, edit, delete and access the data through any browser.
This also allows the organization to make the necessary infrastructure changes as and when required, which are far more flexible and convenient than the on-premised alternatives.
